Businesses without enough insurance cover

In December 2007 a force 6.8 earthquake struck Gisborne, causing around $30 million worth of damage to buildings. Many building owners found that their insurance cover was not sufficient to repair the buildings to the required standard. Watch this 2008 TV news clip to hear John Lucas of the NZ Insurance Council explain what happened to those owners.
