Alun Bollinger, cinematographer

Alun Bollinger is one of New Zealand’s most experienced cinematographers, having worked on many New Zealand feature films and documentaries over the last 30 years. He was named an Arts Foundation laureate in 2006. Although he travels widely, he tries to spend at least half of each year at his home in Blacks Point, near Reefton. In this extract from the 2008 biographical documentary, Barefoot cinema: the art and life of cinematographer Alun Bollinger, he talks about designing and building a skate park for Reefton young people.
