The Māui B platform

The Māui B platform

Māui B was the second platform built to tap the Māui field in Taranaki. Installed in 1993, it enabled the extraction of additional gas and condensate. It also located significant amounts of previously undetected oil. Oil, gas and condensate from the unmanned Māui B platform were transported to the manned Māui A platform by a sea-floor pipeline and from there to shore.
