Researchers at the Malaghan Institute, 2010

The Malaghan Institute of Medical Research (MIMR) is an independent research body, based at Victoria University of Wellington. Ashna Khan, a Victoria University PhD student affiliated with the MIMR, is shown carrying out research on helping the immune system fight infectious diseases. The Malaghan Institute concentrates on finding cures for cancer, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, infectious diseases, asthma and allergies.
