Dead fish, Ahuriri Lagoon

Large numbers of dead fish were left after Ahuriri Lagoon was reduced in size. Because of the smell it was necessary to rake up the fish and dispose of them.

Excellent website on the Napier quake. My family were there at the time-evacuated out -in due time to settle in Tokoroa. I now live in London Napier is such a lovely place -I dread another quake happening ... as poor Christchurch has suffered!
