Angela Misela completed a Bachelor of Textile Design at Unitec in Auckland in 2013. The fabric she designed and made took its inspiration from her Tongan heritage and was inspired by tapa cloth. The knit panels were part of Objectspace gallery's Best in Show 2014 exhibition.
