Playing up for the camera

Former Cirque du Soleil clown Nathan Cooper performs for a tourist in Christchurch in 2006. Despite his oversized shoes, Cooper's routine included tap dancing. The World Buskers' Festival was established in Christchurch in 1994 and was the largest outdoor festival in New Zealand. The 2014 event in Christchurch featured 55 performers, from stand-up comedians to acrobats. Cooper was back, this time juggling machetes while bouncing on a pogo stick.
