Splore festival

Splore was a music and arts festival held at Tapapakanga Regional Park, near Auckland. The festival was established in 1998 and incorporated international musical acts, with arts, dance and circus performances in a beach setting. An important aspect of the festival was sustainability; festival goers were encouraged to reuse, to compost and to take away all their rubbish. This is Australian band The Bamboos playing on the main stage in 2014.
