Pagan Records, established by Trevor Reekie in 1985, nurtured a range of leading pop and rock acts including Shona Laing, Ardijah, Strawpeople, Bic Runga, Shihad, Greg Johnson, Paul Ubana Jones, the Warratahs, Tex Pistol and Rikki Morris, Holidaymakers and the Parker Project. Some of these acts moved on to other labels, but in the 1990s Smokeshop, Let's Planet, Death Ray Cafe and the Nixons signed up with Pagan. The Antenna sub-label was established in 1996, but in 2004 Trevor Reekie decided to pull out of the recording business. This a small sample of Pagan Records's output.
