Michael King Young Writers Programme, 2009

The Michael King Centre offers a young writers programme for Auckland students. Leading writers conduct three one-day workshops each year. Poet Michele Leggott was one of the guest tutors in 2009. She is shown here sitting on the steps of the centre wearing a cap, along with founding trustee of the centre Christine Cole Catley (top left) and a crowd of young writers.
