Melbourne Commonwealth Games women's triathlon, 2006

Samantha Warriner (left) and Andrea Hewitt (centre) of New Zealand chase the eventual winner, Emma Snowsill of Australia, towards the end of the Commonwealth Games triathlon at St Kilda, Melbourne, in March 2006. Warriner eventually passed Hewitt to claim the silver, with Hewitt winning the bronze. Hewitt was the most consistently successful New Zealand woman performer over the next decade.
