Former professional cyclist Stephen Swart is shown here with his wife, Jan, in December 2012. Swart revealed that while riding for the Motorola team in 1995, he and other team mates had taken the banned performance enhancing substance EPO. In 2012 he gave evidence to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) that helped expose US cyclist Lance Armstrong, seven times winner of the Tour de France, as a drug cheat. This investigation led to Armstrong being stripped of his seven Tour de France titles.
