Kōrero: Household management

Burning household rubbish used to be a regular part of a weekend clean-up. It was a job usually done by the man or older boys in a household, and got rid of paper, cardboard and garden waste. In the 2000s the use of household incinerators became the subject of sometimes heated debate, with some local councils banning it.
