Ed Dolejs instructs a young player in batting skills. Dolejs came to New Zealand from the US in 1965 and became a great softball coach. He was trainer/hitting coach for the 1976 New Zealand men's team who were joint world champions. In 1977 Dolejs became coach of the women's team. He coached the the White Sox to victory at the 1982 International Softball Federation World Championship, to a silver medal at the 1990 event and to third placings in 1978 and 1986.
