This is the New Zealand delegation at the 67th annual conference of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva, in June 1981. The ILO is a body that sets international labour standards, involving the governments, employers and labour unions of member countries. The 1981 New Zealand delegation included (front row, left to right) Jim Knox (Federation of Labour), Jim Rowe (Employers' Federation), F. D. R. Roe (deputy secretary of labour and leader of the New Zealand delegation), Jim Bolger (minister of labour), (back row, left to right) R. M. Richards, Sonja Davies (Federation of Labour), Terence O'Brien (ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva), R. J. Cave and J. D. Burns.
