Sir Bob Charles takes a tee shot at the City of Dunedin Legends Pro-Am at Balmacewen in February 2010. Charles took up professional golf in 1960, only retiring from the professional game in 2010, when he was 74. He had a highly successful career, winning 68 professional victories, including the (British) Open in 1963. He played in seniors (over-50) tours and championships, including 24 (British) Senior Opens from 1987. Charles won the (British) Senior Open in 1993.
