Bob Charles, golfing legend

Sir Bob Charles takes a tee shot at the City of Dunedin Legends Pro-Am at Balmacewen in February 2010. Charles took up professional golf in 1960, only retiring from the professional game in 2010, when he was 74. He had a highly successful career, winning 68 professional victories, including the British Open in 1963. He played in seniors tours and championships, including 24 British Senior Opens from 1987 on. Charles won the British Senior Open in 1993 when he was 57.
