Public health professionals work in both health protection and health promotion. In the early 2000s Cassius Kuresa was a health promoter at the Regional Public Health unit, which covered Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa. He was involved in promoting Pacific sexual health, and child and youth health.
