Healthy school lunches

Healthy school lunches

Unhealthy diet is a major cause of disease in New Zealand. Some schools encourage children to eat healthy food in the hope that this will become the habit of a lifetime. Britney Williamson (8) and Tan-Charlie Malam (8) of Glen Innes Primary School in Auckland are eating sandwiches they made using salad greens grown in the school garden.
