Two Sea Scouts boats come into the jetty at Evans Bay during an inspection in December 1951, while a crowd looks on. Sea Scouts were a variant of Scouts that focused on sailing and seamanship. There were far fewer Sea Scouts than Scouts, and Auckland had the major concentration of these nautical troops.
