Aotea Harbour

Beyond these west coast breakers is the entrance to the Aotea Harbour, one two several large tidal estuaries on Waikato’s west coast. Located 27 km south of Raglan Harbour (Whāingaroa), it is an important habitat for sea and shore birds.
