Megan Sargent (left) and Brent Milburn, the directors of Abe’s Real Food Company, stand in their Auckland bagel factory in 2007. They began their business in 1996, specialising in steam-baked bagels. New Zealand’s food revolution, which took off in the 1980s, has seen Kiwis embracing cuisine from all around the world. These changing tastes have also prompted the growth of new businesses.
