1984 election campaign

Rob and Thea Muldoon arrive at the Wellington town hall during the 1984 election campaign. The lacklustre approach contrasted with the vigour of earlier campaigns, and was consequently less effective. The National Party’s vote was split by the new, conservative New Zealand Party, and Labour won a landslide victory.
