Bason Botanic Gardens, Whanganui

Located on the north-western outskirts of Whanganui city, the Bason Botanic Gardens, developed between 1980 and 2000, are an example of a modern public garden. There are six themed areas in a 25-hectare parkland setting. These aloes and palms are in the subtropical section of the garden.
