Farm consulting

A farm consultant discusses the quality of a pasture with a farmer. New varieties of grasses and legumes are often grown for specific purposes, such as fattening lambs, break feeding for wintering stock, or long-term rotational grazing for deer, sheep or cattle. The time of grazing and how heavily the pasture should be grazed are also things that the farmer needs to consider. Consultants can provide useful advice on these matters.
