Test burning

Since 2001 there has been research into the effects of burning tall-tussock grasslands, on a variety of sites. The plant biomass and soil nutrient pools are measured before and after burning, and fire behaviour is monitored. These scenes are from a test site on the high, rolling country at Moa Flat Station, inland from Dunedin.
