Taranaki (Mt Egmont)

At the centre of Egmont National Park is Taranaki (Mt Egmont) – here dramatically reflected in a tarn (mountain lake) on the nearby Pouākai Range. Created in 1900, Egmont was New Zealand’s second national park.
