The International Rugby Board Sevens tournament has been a February fixture at Wellington’s Westpac Stadium since the early 2000s. In the carnival atmosphere, spectators don fancy dress and promenade along the concourses. Prizes are awarded for the best costumes. At the end of play the crowd spills out into the city’s bars and restaurants. This ‘American Indian’ is posing at the 2007 event.
