Tutor Roger Midwinter shows (from left) Him Mara, Mouw Young Yourng, Neal Neary and Tan Seng An how to use equipment in the language laboratory of Wellington Polytechnic. The four were part of a contingent of eight Cambodian science students studying in New Zealand under the Colombo Plan. Neal Neary is dressed traditionally in a shirt and a skirt-like garment called a sampot.
