Nesian Mystik

Popular R&B and hip-hop band Nesian Mystik formed in Auckland in 1999 and competed in Smokefreerockquest the following year. They won the stage image award (while Evermore won the main prize) and went on to become one of New Zealand's most popular bands of the early 2000s. In this short film made for high-school students, band members talk about the importance of music during their school years and how Smokefreerockquest got them started.
