Kōrero: Ethnic inequalities

Annual income by ethnicity, 2013

These pie charts compare the distribution of incomes among those who identified themselves as Asian, European, Māori and Pacific peoples in the 2013 census. The proportion of Europeans who earned $50,000 or more was a third larger than the proportion of Māori or Asian people earning that much, and more than double the percentage of Pacific peoples.
