The mateship which developed between Australian and New Zealand soldiers serving in Gallipoli during 1915 is reflected in this card sent at the end of the year. The Australian soldier on the left with the slouch hat and the New Zealand soldier on the right with the lemon-squeezer hat cross weapons. Soldiers from the two countries had together formed the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC).
