Safer sex and prostitution

Safer sex and prostitution

This Ministry of Health advertisement shows another radical shift in attitudes toward sex and sexually transmitted diseases. Historically, prostitutes have been held responsible for spreading disease. This advertisement, produced after prostitution was decriminalised, is directed instead at sex workers' clients, reminding them that safer sex is a legal requirement of the Prostitution Reform Act 2003.
