Refrigerator advertisement

Refrigerator advertisement

The 1950s saw the growth of new homes and suburbs around New Zealand cities. There was also an increase in new consumer goods such as gramophones, cars, furniture and refrigerators. This advertisement for a large fridge, from about 1955, was typical in its appeal to the well-organised homemaker.
