2nd National Blues Convention, 1969

This advertisement promotes the 2nd National Blues Convention, held at Moller's farm, Oratia, West Auckland, in December 1969. The Auckland blues convention, along with similar events held in Wellington, helped promote blues music in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In the 2010s jazz and blues festivals around the country continued to provide showcases for local and international blues artists.
