A new settler’s identity card

On his arrival in New Zealand, Aleksander Niedaszkowski went initially to the resettlement camp at Pahīatua. There he was issued with a ‘new settler’s identity card’, which he took with him into the community when he was discharged from the Pahīatua camp.
