  • CCS Disability Action

    An organisation that provides information, advocacy and support for disabled people and their families.

  • Deaf Sports

    The national organisation for sports for deaf people. It runs the New Zealand Deaf Games.

  • Disabled Persons Assembly NZ

    An umbrella organisation which represents people with disability and their families, disability advocacy organisations and disability service providers.

  • IHC

    IHC New Zealand advocates for the rights of people with intellectual disability, and provides housing and work services.

  • Kāpo Māori Aotearoa New Zealand Inc.

    The website of an indigenous national consumer-driven organisation that offers specialist Māori cultural support initiatives, solutions and advice.

  • Support Groups

    This page on the Health Navigator NZ website lists the details of over 100 organisations offering health and disability support in New Zealand.

  • Whāia Te Ao Mārama: The Māori Disability Action Plan

    A plan to enable Māori with disabilities to achieve their aspirations, and to reduce barriers that may impede Māori disabled and their whānau from gaining better outcomes.

  • Faiva Ora 2014–2016: National Pasifika Disability Plan

    This plan encourages support services, government agencies and Pasifika communities to enable Pasifika disabled people and their families to live in their homes and participate in their community.
