Haungaroa undersea volcano

Haungaroa undersea volcano

The Haungaroa volcano was discovered in 2002, and this model has been built from information gathered during an underwater survey. The real volcano is about 30 kilometres in diameter and 2,400 metres high. On this model the darker areas are young lava flows.
