Tērā tētahi titiro ki te whare whakairo, anō he tauira mō te āhua me te hanga o te ao. Kei waho o te whare ko Te Pō, kei roto i te whare ko Te Ao Mārama. Kīia ai te papa o te whare ko Papatūānuku. Ko ngā poupou o te whare ka tūhono i a Papatūānuku ki te tāhū; he tohu tēnei ki te hononga o Papatūānuku rāua ko Ranginui.

Your description of "On the outside of the house is Te Pō, or darkness. On the inside is Te Ao Mārama – the world of light." is the opposite of what is shown in the picture
