The governor (1977)
Watch a dramatisation of the events leading up to the Waikato War of 1863–4, featuring Don Selwyn as Wiremu Tāmihana Tarapīpipi Te Waharoa. The governor was a landmark television series about the life of Sir George Grey, and was both ambitious and highly controversial at the time of its release.
