WOMAD

WOMAD

Since 2003 the New Zealand venue for the WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) festival has been New Plymouth’s Brooklands Park. Some artists perform on the Bowl of Brooklands outdoor stage, which is picturesquely set behind a small lake and flanked by native bush. WOMAD is a multi-stage international performing arts festival with associated workshops and craft and food stalls.
