Illuminated address, 1923 (3 o 3)

This illuminated address was presented to botanist Thomas Frederick Cheeseman by the Council of the Auckland Institute on 26 February 1923. It was given in appreciation of Cheeseman's services to the Auckland Institute and Auckland Museum, and to the cause of science in general. As well as producing numerous botanical studies and publications, Cheeseman was secretary of the Auckland Institute and curator of the Auckland Museum from 1874 until his death in October 1923.
