Kōrero: Choral music and choirs

The Rotorua Maori Choir

In 1930 Columbia Records recorded the Rotorua Maori Choir singing in the Tūnohopū meeting house at Ōhinemutu, on the shore of Lake Rotorua. The original 78RPM discs were remastered and released on three LP discs in the early 1960s.
