Aotea Ladies' Club playing football, 1921

In 1921 women's football clubs were formed in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Here the A and B teams of the Aotea Ladies' Club play each other at the Basin Reserve in Wellington as a curtain-raiser to a men's provincial contest between Auckland and Wellington.
