Plunket Shield match, Auckland Domain, 1910

This panorama of the Auckland Domain shows the large number of spectators watching Auckland play Otago during a Plunket Shield match. The Domain had been an important ground for cricket games since 1874, and it remained Auckland's major ground for provincial matches until 1914 when first-class games were transferred to the newly constructed Eden Park.
