Otago Witness farming news

Most early newspapers included reports about agricultural matters. Some, such as the Otago Witness, devoted entire sections to farming topics. The 14 October 1871 issue covered a range of subjects, from how to kill wireworm to the domestic trials of a bachelor farmer.
