Kōrero: Koreans

‘Faciality’ by Jae-Hoon Lee

Auckland-based digital artist Jae-Hoon Lee scanned the faces of his friends and merged them into a single image for this artwork. The faces bear marks made when they were pressed against the glass of the scanner. Lee was born in South Korea in 1973, moving to the United States in 1993 and to Auckland in 1998.
