Great War Story: Henry Pickerill and Harold Gillies

This short film about the work of plastic surgeons Henry Pickerill and Harold Gillies in the First World War was one of the Great War stories which screened on TV3 in 2014 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of war. The First World War provided a tragic but opportune chance to research and practise this branch of medicine.
