Outrageous fortune

This is a clip from the first episode of Outrageous fortune, in which viewers were introduced to the central character, Cheryl West (played by Robyn Malcolm). Cheryl's husband is sentenced to prison so she sets out to ensure that her criminally minded West Auckland family goes straight. The drama ran for six series and became highly popular, winning best drama programme and best script in the 2010 Qantas Film and Television Awards and best script in the 2011 Aotearoa Film and Television Awards.
