Campbell live investigates (2 o 2)

The success of Holmes on TVNZ led TV3 to establish a similar half-hour current-affairs magazine-style programme following the evening news. In 2005 journalist John Campbell, who had been presenting the news, began hosting a new programme, Campbell live. The show quickly established a reputation for investigative journalism and for running crusades. Watch an excerpt from a 2010 episode investigating what happened to money given to Western Samoa after their tsunami of the previous year, which is a good example of Campbell live's style. The programme won an Aotearoa Film and Television Award for 'Investigation of the year'.
