Asia dynamic began in 1994 and was renamed Asia downunder in 1999. It was funded by NZ On Air under its mandate to support programmes about and for minority groups. The programme was produced by Asia Vision and covered a range of stories, from arts to sport and business, in a magazine format. The show finished in 2011.
